Has anyone used an NM-16A/S serial connection to a WLC 4400?
I have my termial 'router' working with the rest of my Cicso gear and I would like to use it for my Wireless LAN Controller 4400. I tried to use the DB9 terminal connector that Cisco sends out for normal connections back to a PC but, that did not seem to work.
Any suggestions?

But why? That's what the Service Port is use for.

Yes, your are correct I can use the service port and I probably will but, since I already use the NM-16a/s for the majoity of my devices I was looking to use the console port on the WLC to make things consistant.Since I have not been able to get the console port working, I will probley move to the Serice Port directon.
Thank you for your reponse.

With a reverse telnet option using a Serial NM-16-A/S you are limited to using CLI on the WLC. With the Service Port you can use GUI and CLI.
