Hi all,

I just got my "new toys" 2 x 5508 with 200 odd 3600 AP's.

I have setup all my SSID's and they work perfectly on code

AIR-CT5500-K9-7-2-110-0

AIR-CT5500-K9-7-2-111-3

AIR-CT5500-K9-7-3-101-0

Now when I tried adding a 1231 AP I keep getting the folloing message.

But my 3600's comes back with a error

Any idea how I can get both of them working on the controller?

So no backwards compatibility?

U said with  B radio, So I assume I can put in the add on module.

The thing is, with the 1231, being EoL the modules will be extremely expensive.

Right 3600 won't work with code below 7.2.

But you know what I don't think the 1231 is supported even with the g radio .. Not enough memory .. Let me check something ..

I

Thanks George!!! Busy trying to get a refurb / second hand ct2504-50 that can help out for the next year or so. -

Sorry, but I have bad news. The 1231 isnt supported past 7.0 code regardless of the radio ..

The "b" radio statment I made was becuase in order to get a 1231 connected to a WLC PRIOR to 7.0 code it required a b/g radio.
