wlc 5508 global multicast mode

Hello everyone !!

I am using WLC 5508 version 7.0 facing issue while ebabling global multicast mode .

client machine stops DNS resolution after some time once we enable glabal multicast mode on WLC .websites are opening with IPs but not with DNS names .

DNS resolution starts working immediatly after disabling multicase mode on wlc .

Hello Sagar,

The DNS that the clients receive from dhcp, needs to be able to resolve the FQDN.Also try this command instead of enabling multicast.

config network broadcast enable

I m planing for upgrade wlc .I will try the above option if upgrade do not works .
