WLC 5760 DHCP Issues - users cannot obtain IP

Hi friends,

I have a Cisco WLC5760(stacked) and I did not have any problems till users reached more than 3000,now In the pick time some users cannot obtain IP Address and some users drop. I have read a lot about this issue and I found that it could be because IP PING PACKET.When I enable it ,WLC crashes and give me an error(the database could not reach ....).

I really appreciate if you could help me.( I have about 20 internal DHCP severs)

Are you using 5760 as DHCP server for your clients ?

Also what software version you run on your 5760 ?

If you could reproduce the issue, I would suggest troubleshoot with TAC

Yes I'm using internal DHCP server

Actually its the latest version 3.6.4 ( I have upgraded it recently , but nothing happend)

I have never used TAC would you pls tell me what should I do ?

If you have this device under Cisco maintenance support, then log a case with them. So you with get technical assistance to troubleshoot this issue.

If you do not have this, then I would sugget to use a proper DHCP server instead of 5760 use as DHCP server & test.
