WLC controles IOS upgrade from Version Model 8510(8.5.151), 5508 (8.2.151)

i am planning to do IOS upgrade

WLC Model 8510 from version (8.5.151) to------------>8.5.164.0

WLC model  5508 (8.2.151) to------------>8.5.164.0

i want to know what is the prerequisites/requirements to be taken before proceeding with upgrade and if it will be any changes on configuration once upgraded

You can go straight. 

Just make sure you read the Release Notes.  You may need to load the Supplementary AP Bundle.

in case of N+1 redundancy what is the best scenario to start IOS upgrade and for ap bundle should be installed before IOS upgrade and reboot or after?

for mesh AP it will download the image since their images included only in ap bundle upgrade?

and after IOS upgrade for N+1 scenario, i have to reconfigure the AP groups?

For N+1: 

1. Upload the firmware
2. DO NOT REBOOT the controller
3. Upload the Supplementary AP Bundle
4. [OPTIONAL] AP Pre-Download
5. Reboot controller
