WLC Integration with AD

    Dear All

I am trying to integrate the WLC with the Active directory. the wireless card on my windows professional is giving me "Validating Identity" and it is stuck there. I took some debugging on the client hopfully they are useful. I can ping the active directory from the WLC, and in this configuration the WLC does not prompt u which EAP protocol you want to use. when I tried to browse the AD tree through LDAP softeera I did not see unless the values and the attributed related to the account created in the AD from the WLC

WiSM is used + 1252 Access point

How are you integrating between WLC and AD?

When we looked into doing it through LDAP, it wasn't supported in 5.2 so maybe it has changed in 6.0.

Even though the LDAP feature shows up under Security, I was told it wasn't compatible w/ Microsoft AD because a field or attribute was transmitted in clear text, and WLC didn't understand it ....or something like that.

Which version of code are you running, and have you tried w/ RADIUS instead?

I am using software image 5.2.193, I have 1 doucment where u can check it in the above attachment showing the LDAP integration with 5.2 image.

I dont think the image is the problem.
