WLC2504 connection and network topology with APs

You mean a 1602i AP? You can connect the AP to the 2504, but its not supported by TAC.

Agree with Scott.  Yes, you can but it's not recommended.  Make sure your WLC is running the correct firmware to begin with.

You may want to pust the output to the following commands:

1.  WLC:  sh sysinfo;

2.  AP:  sh version;

3.  AP:  sh inventory
