WLC4124 & 4402-25 - Mobility Anchoring Question

Hi Guys,

Is it possible to Mobility Anchor a WLC4124 WLAN to a WLC4402 WLAN?

This would be to enable a migration from an existing WLAN on the 4124 to a new WLAN that is anchored to the 4402. The 4402 will eventually be replaced by a higher capacity model and the 4124 will then be decommisioned.

Mobility anchoring has to be between WLCs of the same software version, regardless of platform hardware. So if your WLCs run the same software version, then it's ok.

Thanks Nicholas, i had a feeling that was the case. Looks like it'll have to be a temporary WLAN on the 4124 in that case as I can't downgrade the 4402 to 3.2.x.x code without it having a major impact.
