WLSE - Best Practices for AP Radio Scan

I'm looking for a document in CCO that describes best practices for configuring AP Radio Scan in a WLSE. I'm primarily interested in how often I should do AP Radio scan and the "maximum transmit power" setting I should use.

I currently scan the "A" band every three hours and the "B" band every three hours (offset by 30 minutes from the "A" band scan).

I'm wondering if I should scan less frequently and leave rogue detection up to a product like AirDefense.

I scan once a week in the middle of the night. You disrupt network access when you scan. Scanning only tests an AP's ability to hear other managed AP's. Rogues will be detected whenever they appear as long as you have included a particular managed AP in radio monitoring. Transmit power should be based on the maximum power you plan to use in a given location. Hope this helps.
