I'm new to wireless and having some issues trying to set up our WLSE Express (firmware now upgraded to 2.13.1u and talking to 1130AG Aironet APs) to authenticate clients against an LDAP server.
Internal authentication against local Users on the WLSE Express runs fine, but I cannot get it to authenticate against an external LDAP server.
The docs appear to be incorrect in that they state that the LDAP server will return the userpassword to the WLSE, which will then compare it against the one from the client. As far as I know no LDAP server will return the user password.
Does someone have a 'cheat sheet' with the WLSE settings for a working environment please?
Thanks,
Terry Broad

The documentation on WLSE is correct. Can you post the configuration so that we can check if the settings are correct?

You need to be more specific about 'post the configuration' please. I am using the web interface. I presume you are talking about the AAA server configuration in the WLSE but there doesn't seem to be any way of saving that to a separate file from the web interface, and the whole WLSE config backup comes out to about 37MB...
Thanks,
Terry
