Hi,
I'm trying to setup a work group bridge between Cisco AP (AP1242AG) and Aruba Wireless LAN controller (MMC3200) with AP105 AP's. I'm running IOS version c1240-k9w7-mx.124-10b.JDA3 on the Cisco AP and it this IOS support workgroup-bridge universal configuration.
Did any one had tried setting up work group bridge between Cisco and Aruba before and make it work?
Regards
Naz

There have been another post like yours and there are issues.

The best thing to do is try it and see if it works. Here is a link you might want to look at also.

HI Scott,
Thanks for the documents.
I have set this up and for some reason i can not even get the radio interface (dot11radio 1) up. It always stays on "reset" and down mode :-(
But when i change the role to root the interface comes up and clients are able to connect.
The configuration is attached for reference.

Hi Scott,
Not sure how this will be the root :-(
I have the wired client connected to this AP and from the documentation (referring the the diagram under Network Diagram heading) which you send across in your previous post the AP to which wired clients are connected as configured as Work Group bridge.
Hope this clears your confusion.

Your right... I was confused from another post I was looking at. I noticed you disabled all your data rates except for 54. That can be your issue. Start of easy by clearing the config, set the hostname, ip address, SSID and staiton role. See if the WGB works and then play around with the other settings.
Thanks,
Scott
