WPA Authentication delay Windows XP

I am having a delay authenticating to my Aironet 1200 when first logging on using WPA to ACS3.3. My login scripts are not executing because of the delay. I installed the Microsoft patch KB826942, but still have the problem. No delay if I logoff then back on again. AP log shows a couple authentication failures before authenticating. Any suggestions would be great. Thanks

I too had the same issue and solved when the Wireless Update Rollup Package for Windows XP is applied.
