ASR 9001 NP1 FAILED_TX_PATH,

Dear All,

I have problem with below log and suddenly the NP stop forwarding packet please advise the solution and how to reset the NP or do i need to reload the entire box ?

 

LC/0/0/CPU0:Nov 12 11:29:05.192 : pfm_node_lc[285]: %PLATFORM-DIAGS-0-LC_NP_LOOPBACK_FAILED_TX_PATH : Set|online_diag_lc[139346]|Line card NPU loopback Test(0x2000006)|link failure mask is 0x2. 

Please help.

most likely the problem is related to NP lockup. LC reload would be enough to recover it (if the problem is not HW related).

4.3.4 with SP4 or 5.1.3 address almost all know np lockup problems.

On ASR9001 these are build-in NPs and can not be separately reset. We'd need to reload the whole box.

Thank you. How do we reload the LC example we used ASR 9001 port 0/0/2/0-1 belong to NP0 and port 0/0/2/2-3 belong to NP1.
