Running ISG on ASR 9006??

Hi guys,

We have an ASR 9006 configured as a BNG. I wanna run ISG on this router. Is different ISG configuration and normal BNG configuration on ASR9006 or not?

Is there any documents about ISG configuration on ASR 9000?

there is no separate BNG and ISG configuration in IOS XR. This is all explained in the asr9k BNG Deployment guide and related documents that you can access from:

Sorry for asking too much questions, my final question would be ...

does running ISG on ASR 9K needs any special hardware or license?

From HW perspective  you need -SE flavour of Typhoon generation line card and also the -SE flavour of RSP440. You can also use asr9001 because it's an equivalent of MOD80-SE line card.

You also need the BNG license.
