I'm trying to get an STM-64 to come up between an old 7600 and a 9K. The 7600 side is fine but a get a PPLM alarm on the 9K. I have configured a SONET controller with SDH framing on the 9K but it appears that there are different config options necessary on the 9K. Any ideas? The 7600 config is:
interface POS3/0/0
ip address xx.xx.xx.xx/30
encapsulation ppp
crc 32
clock source internal
pos framing sdh
pos scramble-atm
pos flag s1 ignore
no cdp enable
end
And the 9K config is:
interface POS0/2/1/0
ipv4 address yy.yy.yy.yy/30
encapsulation ppp
!
controller SONET0/2/1/0
framing sdh
s1byte ignore
clock source internal
Thanks in advance,
Paul
