The Headset model is a Poly Savi  8210 UC

Have you gone to Poly's website and looked up the headset on their website?  It gives you information on what the settings on the headset base need to be.  It also advised what cable you need between the base and the phone.  In the case of 8851 and Savi 8210, you need the APC-43 or APC-76 cord, and the settings on the base need to be:

  • Configuration switch: A
  • Speaking Volume: 3
  • Listening Volume: 2

Do you have the APC cord and the settings as defined above?

As @Andrew Skelly  mentioned You need a APC-43 cable to connect the base with the phone. Hope you did this part.

Go through below guide for base stations settings. on Page 4, make changes on 5,6,7 buttons.
