Can you ping from the Endpoint to BD gateway ip address which is is in same subnet as Endpoint?

Hi
How did you try to ping an endpoint?
Leaf# iping 10.242.237.92 -V PROD:Hybrid
If endpoint is not replying, probably firewall (on server) is blocking echo-requests.
Hope it helps

Hi,
Uisng iping, i get the reply.
However when I do ping command, the endpoint not reply.
Let say 1 endpoint is on vlan 26, this endpoint can communicate on ip within vlan 26 only. Other vlan will failed to ping to this particular endpoint only. While the other ip from vlan 26 is able to pinged from different segment.
Any ideas?
Endpoint is IBM LPAR AIX

Hi @yuzaimee_yahaya ,
This is an old and seemingly dead question. Would you mind asking it as a NEW question while I think about a reply

Try this
Leaf103# iping -V VRF_NAME -S BD_IP_address 10.242.237.92
If the endpoint doesn't ping probably this endpoint have a firewall active.
