Multi-Site Hardware Requirements - Fixed form factor EX Spine

Hi,

I understand that EX class hardware is a requirement for Spines in a Multi-Site deployment.

Is there a fixed form factor EX class spine currently available and if not, is there an expected time frame?

Also, there is a spine capable EX line card for a 9500 but it looks like that is 100G only?  Is that correct or did I misunderstand?

Thanks in advance for the help & clarifications!

Hi

I just wanted to see if you found any answer to your question on fix chassis Spine supported for Multi-site?

Looks like after months still the only supported hardware is 9500 series with 100G line card!

Thanks

Ehsan

Just found out that the multi-site will be supported with ACI ver 3.1 not 3.0.

You mean even with 9500 series you have to wait for version 3.1 ?  I think the Multi-Site VM appliance is already available for download and deploy for version 3.0

9500 spines are supported for multi-site in 3.0 as long as you have the gen2 line card (-EX or -FX).

No, my comment was only referring to the new baby spine Nexus 9364.
