I'm jeon.
I have a question regarding ace performance
I know that the ace use the Tengigabitethernet in internal bus
but How can the ACE do up to 16G?
If the ace use the TE, the maximum performance is 10G? , on my opinion.
Could you explain me about this?

ACE uses a single 16Gbps interconnect to the Catalyst 6500/7600 Switch backplane.
I think you are confused because of
Cat6500-1#sh int TenGigabitEthernet x/1 status
command that is used for ACE.
Since there is no interfaces of type "16G",
TenGigabitEthernet type is used, to indicate that it is a single connection.

It just indicate a single connection between msfc and ace?
If Te x/1 is 10G, the real data communication in 16G between msfc and ace?

As I said earlier there is a single 16Gbps conn between ACE & switch backplane. Te is only used as no 16g interface definition is available in IOS.
