Hello,

on one WAE in my network I receive heaps of error messages like the following

Error getting the security descriptor of nv02521.w2\swl$\SWL_Tools\PDX_TOOL\PDX_Tool.exe, client 172.16.82.111.

can anybody help out here what it means ? As far as I have googled, it can be resolved via a microsoft patch. Any experiences here ?

thanks!

Ida

Hi Ida,

Which version are you running on your WAE?

If it is earlier then 4.3(1), it is very likely that you are hitting the following bug: CSCtc88707 Edge WAE throwing exception when browsing certain files from win7 client.

You can have a look at it's description from the following link: http://tools.cisco.com/Support/BugToolKit/search/getBugDetails.do?method=fetchBugDetails&bugId=CSCtc88707

Regards,

Nicolas

Hello,

Thanks a lot for your fast answer. This could indeed be the case. We are running 4.1.7b and are considering the upgrade.
