No harddisk no admin port on WAE-274

Hi,

I have an WAE-274 with failing HD, new RMA is on the way.

A question about this WAE-274.

If I did an "sh run" or an "sh start" I was unable to see the interface GigabitEthernet 1/0.

The interface InlineGroup 1/1 was there.

sh disk det was saying missing disk.

Please explain why I couldn't see the interface GigabitEthernet 1/0 ?

Hi,

  If you do not see Gig port on WAVE device and only see inline this could means that onborad NIC has failed, Inline is a card installed on WAVE so it looks like still working, RMA was the best option for this issue. Thanks.

Hi,

Is the problem that the onboard NIC and the HD is using the same bus or the main problem is the HD?

The good thing is that the WAE is pass-through the traffic, so the site was not down.

I just wondering how to troubleshoot next time as we have now 36 WAE up and running.
