Question about SRE WAAS sizing on ISR G2

Good afternoon!

I've looked high and low, but can't make heads or tails of the WAAS (not WAAS Express) licensing on the SRE's.

What do Small, Medium, Large denote in regards to how many users, connections, etc can each type of license handle?  I can find a lot on the dedicated appliances as well as the older NMEs, but nothing in regards to sizing WAAS on the SRE's.

Thanks!

Jarod

Oh it took a while to get to this pdf but here it is finally, with TCP connection details:

Thanks!  That tells me the number of users - is a number of optimized TCP connections, WAN throughput, etc?  Or should I just assume some number like 10 TCP connections/user?

Exactly what I needed - thanks a lot!

I guess one more quick question while we're at it - are the TCP connection limits enforced, or are they just suggested numbers?  I.E. would it throw the traffic into passthrough if it surpassed X number of connections?  I'm looking at WAAS 4.4.1.

Thanks!

Yes - if you surpass the max number of TCP sessions any sessions beyond that number will not be optimised (i.e. pass through).
