Hello everyone,

I've been detect a problem on a WAE-7371-K9 on its DISK00.

==================================================================================================

WAE-7371-K9#show disks details

RAID Physical disk information:

  disk00: Defunct

  disk01: Online               J0V9K9KM         286102 MB

  disk02: Online               J0V9KBRM         286102 MB

  disk03: Online               J0V95N3M         286102 MB

  disk04: Online               J0V9VPJM         286102 MB

  disk05: Online               J0V9VYRM         286102 MB

RAID Logical drive information:

   raid-disk:   RAID-5 Critical 1430000 MB

               Enabled (read-cache) Enabled (write-back)

==================================================================================================

I will replace this Disk to another but I have no sure if the New Disk that I will replace is correctly formated.

My question is:

The RAID-5 will automatically install the new disk and format it or I need to format the new disk before I install in my WAE-7371-K9.

I have been learned how do that in Links below, but I still have some doubts.

Regards.

Eder.
