We have used ATA 186 devices with our Call Manager system for use with fax machines and analog phones in a manufacturing environment. I am hopeful that the SPA112 can be used as a lower cost alternative to the older ATAs.
I have searched for basic configuration information for use with Call Manager but haven't come across anything.
Can these devices be used with Call Manager and is there basic information available on how to configure them?
Thanks.

1.) Create a local end user in CUCM and set digest credentials
2.) Create a phone security profile for "Third Party SIP Device (Basic), set transport to UDP, check "Use Digest Credentials"
3.) Create a phone type Third Party SIP Device (Basic) using the "Internet" inferface mac of the SPA112 and configure all parameters as a normal device for your environment.
4.) Set digest user to the user created in step 1
5.) Set SIP profile to the profile created in step 2
On the SPA 112
1.) Go to Voice
2.) Go to "Line 1"
3.) Set the parameters as follows
SIP Transport = UDP
Proxy = IP of primary CUCM call processing node
Display Name = Extension
User ID = Extension
Password = Digest Password from CUCM user
Auth ID = User ID from CUCM user
Set "Use Auth ID" to yes
Reboot
