call TAPI using web application

We are kinda new when it come to customize web application to call TAPI. Previously, we have been using Web dialer to make a call to the destination number without problem and want to upgrade our application to another level. Note that this case, we will only communicate with CUCM because the solution doesn't include CCX license.

  I did not see any question in your post. What are you looking for?

Cisco UCM has 2 interfaces for third party call control. Cisco TAPI described here:Cisco TAPI and Cisco JTAPI Cisco DevNet: JTAPI - JTAPI

You can go through them and select an interface that suits you.

Hi Mohan,

     Thanks for the links to the documents. We want to create an outbound application by using TAPI to communicate with CUCM.

     Our software is using Cisco Web Dialer right now for a click-to-call button but we found some problem on this method. After some period of using the extension to call out to the destination, some extension could not make a call from Web Dialer anymore. We still could make call for the soft phone (IPcomm) but could not make call from the Web dialer. and we have to wait a couple days before the extension is back to normal operation. Not sure whether there is any limitation on the Web dialer or not.

     With this being said, that is why we want to connect our web application directly to CUCM using TAPI instead of Cisco Web Dialer.
