Hello community,
After moving Expressway VM to another host, the following alarm is raised: Failed to update key file - Failed to update system key file due to inconsistent state.
There is a way to clear it?

Almost a year since the original post, and zero responses. I'm hitting this too. Is there anything short of a rebuild to fix this? What does the error even mean?

I have the same issue and wanted to share, even if this is an older thread. According to my Cisco rep - factory reset and restore from backup. None of the other fixes have been successful for me. (X14.0.8)

In 14.2 there is a new command: xcommand forcesystemkeyupdate from CLI that clears this warning without rebuild.
