Cisco Community invites each of you to join Cisco in lending a hand to these two independent organizations:

SOS Children's Villages  

Children all over the world are growing up without the care, protection and guidance they need. SOS Children's Villages supports vulnerable children in 138 countries and territories around the world, so that no child grows up alone.

Nova Ukraine 

Nova Ukraine relies on the work of unpaid volunteers and more than 98% of donations go directly to humanitarian aid by helping first responders and refugees, providing supplies to hospitals and assisting animals that have been caught in the crossfire.

The Community Helping Community program is simple. Each time you do any of following activities listed below, Cisco will allocate $1 USD up to $3 USD to donate. Once the total activities reach $13,000, we'll make the donation of up to 50% to SOS Children's Villages and 50% to Nova Ukraine. The program will run until January 15th, 2023 or up to a maximum donation of $13,000 USD, whichever comes first.


This is the list of activities that will count for the donation. Click each of the links in the list below to get the step-by-step process to accomplish any of these activities:

  • Posting will count $3 USD: Knowledge Base document, Blog, or Video.
  • Mark discussions replies as Accepted Solutions will count $2 USD. (You need to be the person that posted the question, or you can also review your old posts).
  • Share your latest technology project in the Project Gallery will count $2 USD.

Not only you will be helping make Cisco Community better, you will also be helping to provide holistic support and high-quality services for children in need around the world, and to provide humanitarian aid to vulnerable groups in Ukraine. We will track our weekly progress using the thermometer below.  Watch for it throughout the community. Also, we will be providing updates of our progress through our Cisco Community social media channels. If you would like to share this program as a way to spread goodwill this holiday season and into the New Year, you can do so via your own social network.
