Catalyst 9300 Switch

Hi Team,

Is it possible that I can use Catalyst 9300 for StackWise, StackWise Virtual and VSS?

StackWise Virtual and VSS are the same. 

The only difference between the two is the OS.  Stackwise Virtual is IOS-XE and VSS is classic IOS.

The thing is that both StackWise Virtual and VSS are not supporting Catalyst 9300. They're supporting 9400,9500&9600 for StackWise Virtual and 6500 & 6800 for VSS.

Chassis based (4500, 6500/6800, 9400, 9500 & 9600) support VSS/SVL. 

3750, 3650/3850, 9200/9300 support stacking.

StackWise Virtual and VSS?

both are same - cisco marketing term different. VSS was on IOS code, SVL on IOS XE code

Cat 9300 do not support, only Cat 9500, 9400, 9600 support these features (required advantage License to build )
