I manage different Catalyst Center installations. Every of these installations includes an automation backup configuration (some daily, some weekly). Over time, many backups were created.
To delete a backup over the gui, about 20s time is used for each. I'm wondering if someone has a accurate solution to delete these automatically or to be able to mark several together.

Hi,
Unfortunately what you are describing is not supported on the current on-prem or AWS deployment code bases. For the ESXi VA, we have a backup retention feature that you can set that will automatically clean up old backups. The AWS and/or on-prem versions will eventually have this when they transition to the same code base running on the ESXi VA platform. This should be towards the beginning to mid of next year.

Ok, thanks for your reply, hopefully Cisco will come up next year with a solution.

Just to be clear, Cisco has come up with a solution. The solution exists in the ESXi VA code. It just hasn't gotten pushed to the on-prem (physical appliance) code. This will happen, it is not a maybe.
