Catalyst Centre Disaster Recovery

Hi Everyone,

Just want to know if someone answer my query regarding a failover scenario. 

Catalyst center has three sites i.e. Main site, Recovery site and Witness site.

When the Main site is down, Witness detects that the Main site is down and shifts traffic to the Recovery site using the DR VIP.

1. Just want to know what will happen in a scenario if the Witness site is down ?

1.1 considering the Witness site is at a different location then Main and recovery site ?

1.2 considering the Witness site is located at either Main or Recovery site ?

Witness node expect to not so-located as DNAC sites as per best practice, Witness always need to be on 3rd location and have reachability of both the sites.

If you collocating in Witness same DC , then desire outcome differs.

I have learned from DR setup - Assurance Data is not replicated. check the version of the DNAC you running have more information :
