Can I connect AP which was configured in FlexConnect to edge's port on fabric sda? or I should configure l2 handoff on the border node to connect legacy switch with ap's?

Hello, it is permitted to connect flex APs to SD-Access Fabric Edge Nodes or Extended Nodes, however please note that SD-Access native IP and MAC theft prevention checks will slow the roaming between FE/EN ports to around 750ms. There is some methods to accelerate flex roaming in SD-Access fabric but they are not yet Generally Available - for more information about the Limited Availability solutions please talk to your pre-sales or CX representative. Best regards, Jerome

March 2024 update. Intra-Subnet Routing (ISR) is now Generally Available. Please review slides in the BRKENS-2819 Cisco Live presentation for prerequisites and capabilities. ISR may not be compatible with all non-Cisco locally switched wireless solutions, it depends on the specific vendor's L2 flooding implementation as explained in the linked slides. Please contact your sales team for roadmap on future plans to expand FlexConnect / local switching wireless support. Best regards, Jerome
