I am installing DNA Center 2.3.7.3 on an exsi host. The install fails with the following message.
Traceback (most recent call last):
File "/usr/local/lib/python3.6/dist-packages/maglev_config_wizard/commands/silent.py", line 173, in cli
exit_with_error(0, error)
File "/usr/local/lib/python3.6/dist-packages/maglev_config_wizard/common/utils.py", line 83, in exit_with_error
sys.exit(1)
Could someone let me know why this install failed as this message is not very descriptive.
Thanks

I had a similar error when i attempted to install on ancient hardware in the lab. What host are you attempting to install it on? Is it OVA or ISO installation? Is the error consistent/have you run into the same issue multiple times?

My VM has 12vCPU, 32 GB memory 3 TB storage using an ISO installation. I have run into the same issue multiple times. What is the minimum resources needed? Is it really 32vCPUs and 256 GB memory?

You should ideally be using the OVA to install on ESXi. For the ISO install I have never had much success with less than 44 cores.
During installation and upgrades it does actually require 32 vCPUs and 256GB memory. You can oversubscribe by quite a lot(2,5x in my lab at least) during regular operation of the appliance though.
EDIT: I assume you meant for lab purposes. For production usecases you will have to use the OVA and adhere to the deployment guide.

Sorry, meant to say I used the OVA install.

I have increased my resources to 32 vCPU and 256GB memory and completed the GUI install. I was able to log onto maglev and am at a $ prompt. What do I need to do from here?
Thanks

If the installation & configuration completed successfully, the next step would be to access the First Time Setup using your browser and navigate to the Catalyst Center IP address.
Note: All services need to be up and running. This may take 45 minutes or so after the configuration has completed.
You should not need to perform any tasks at the CLI level unless you need to reconfigure the Appliance configuration or you are troubleshooting an issue.
