Hi All,

Curious as to why the method of installing / upgrading the appliance via CIMC drive mapping is not officially supported?

I have recently upgraded a 3 node cluster via this method, besides the potential downfall of the install failing multiple times - are there any other downfalls?

i have not heard of anyone successfully doing it this way... but I am happy to have completed it this way.

There shouldn't be any difference to installing from a local medium. It is however painfully slow and prone to transmission errors. I have tried it a couple times but never had it completed successfully.
