Hi
Does anyone know how DNA Center and ISE licensing works ? I have a DNAC cluster which I have intergated with our smart account. DNAC sees that I have a quantity of ISE licenses available and some of them are listed in the Used ISE Licenses area. So, since ISE is integrated with DNAC over PxGrid I had expected to go onto ISE and see it licensed. In the DNAC System - Settings area I have ticked the box for "Auto register smart license enabled devices". When I look on ISE it is still counting down my EVAL period. In the ISE licensing area it does say smart licensing is in effect but the connection method is direct http. I thought DNAC would proxy the smart license requirements and feed back to ISE that is is licensed. The options for connection method are http proxy, transport gateway and SSM on-prem server. If I select the last option it lets me put in the on prem server address. Should this perhaps be my DNAC VIP ?
Thanks, Kev.

When the DNAC refers to smart license enabled devices here it is referring to devices in its inventory. ISE needs to be registered with smart licensing outside of the DNAC through one of the supported methods. Please see the following links:
