Hi All,
do we have any limitation on dna centre features or use cases which are available or not available based on what DNA license the cisco catalyst switches have in a treaditional/non SDA deployment, if yes do we have a document.

Here's a more granular feature chart.
Example The Essential license gives you more basic features, all important switch capabilities and the Advantage license gives you full L3 capabilities and more as @balaji.bandi mentioned. Since we not sure if you talking about Access switches or core switches the funtionaliity/features on DNA Center we be differ.

DNA Center deployment based on the size of Sites the hardware and cluster need to be choose, License concern DNAC point of you nothing.
License should be on End device shoulw support based on the tiers

let me put it htis way: assume i have one switch with essentila license and another switch with advantage licenses. what difference in visibility or managebility perspective would we see.

The difference you see features, Essential is basic License as perpertual come with most of the switches by default.
above anything of essential features, that will give you ability to run those features. (example Layer 3 full features, VRF, SVL...So on as mentioned the features)
