Can i build an sd access  fabric when my edge switches have only dna essentials license ?

So this means dna advantage on edge switches is mandatory to build the fabric.

Does it make sense to build the fabric only with the core and distribution switches (they have advantage) knowing that endpoints are not going to be connected to the distribution ?

Hi Bob. At this exact moment you must have SDA to the edge/access switch, which means Advantage to the edge. There is some new features coming which may help meet the requirements you allude to.
