Hello everyone !
Can someone please explain to me why does DNAC need internet connectivity to perform pnp.
I'm using DHCP so I don't see why it's needed.
I tried with and without and it only works when DNAC has connectivity.
Thanks

Hm...
how do you connect your switches ?
do you have a local vlan for PnP ?
do you have DNS or DHCP option43 configured for PnP
or are the switches connecting to Cisco PnP connect?
in that case DNA needs access to Cisco PnP connect also.

DNA-C dosen't need internet connectivity for PnP by default, but it needs connection to the pnp cloud portal - you can limit the access to only the valid .cisco.com domains on the firewall.

It needs access to the pnp cloud in case of usage of: Cisco Plug and Play Connect (cloud-based device discovery).
Other options are:
● DHCP server, using option 43 (set the IP Address of the controller).
● DHCP server, using a DNS domain name (DNS lookup of pnphelper).
● USB key (bootstrap config file).
In this options the access to the pnp portal is not needed, but DNA-C still needs access to software.cisco.com for licensing and software...
