Dnac golden image

Does anybody know? Which way can I set the golden image through tag only?

I have some switches / routers and I need to set for some of them ios version 17.06.05 and 17.09.02 for the routers, I set special tag on the ios - C9300-17.06.05 and ISR4331-17.09.02 and set tag to the switches / routers, but I noticed that it didn't work without any role on the new image. Is it normal?
