Hi
I have a Cat9800v discovered in DNAC. It is listed in the inventory as "Netconf access denied" However when I select edit device and validate credentials it passes every credential including netconf. Also when I watch the logs as it resyncs I see
%DMI-5-AUTH_PASSED: Chassis 2 R0/0: dmiauthd: User 'XXXX' authenticated successfully from 192.168.x.x:16595 for netconf over ssh. External groups: PRIV15
Can anyone suggest what is wrong with netconf?
Thanks, Kev.

Ive not seen this issue directly, but sort of the same when somehow the information is stale and i have had to disable and re-enable such features on the end device. This or clearing the session normally does fixes this, you could also try and remove/rediscover the device.

What happens if you ssh to port 830 (assuming that's the netconf port you used) on the WLC using the same credentials as Cat Center?
What version are you using on Cat Center and your WLC? By default netconf will use the "default" aaa method list, but I have seen some customers not want to use this "deafult" method list, which means netconf can't authenticate (until you configure it to use a different method list)
