Upgrading IOS for Cisco 9300 switch stacks via DNAC

Hello all,

i would like to ask if anyone has tried to upgrade switch IOS (e.g. Cisco 9300 switch stacks) via Cisco DNAC.

1. Max no of switch stacks that can be upgraded via DNAC

2. Roughly how long it will take from DNAC to complete switch IOS upgrade for each of the switch stacks (e.g. each stacks has 3-4 switches).

3. What happens when there are issues during upgrade process? Does it revert back to previous switch IOS?

Hi,

Yeah I have tried upgrading the 93k switches through DNA center.

In our infra we have disturbed the image before the upgradation by checking the memory status.

And upgraded the image with in 20-30 mins, even if the switch and dna are geographically different location.

have upgraded staack 4 switches

Thanks @Anjana A for your input. May i ask the image upgrade 20-30min includes distributing image + activation or only activation? 

20-30mins is almost similar to manual switch IOS upgrade time. Thanks
