Even through I know from a nested support stance Junipers official take is that the new vJunos Router images are not supported unless on BareMetal installs. However I know people in the EVE-NG community have successfully gotten it to load by using modified templates.
I was wondering if anyone who is familiar with CML and creating custom node definitions had successfully gotten one of these newer qcow images from Junos to load. I've been playing around with different definitions changes for a few hours trying to match some of the parameters I see in the EVE-NG template with no success yet.
This is the template string I found in the EVE-NG community that worked.
"-machine type=pc,accel=kvm -serial mon:stdio -nographic -smbios type=1,product=VM-VMX,family=lab -cpu IvyBridge,ibpb=on,md-clear=on,spec-ctrl=on,ssbd=on,vmx=on"
