Putty style copy & paste

Hi,

Running CML 2.6.1 and I love it. So useful in a lot of scenarios.

One feature I am missing is being able to copy and paste text like in other terminal applications such as PuTTY. Left click, right click. Or at least set some other keyboard bindings. I'm on Windows and ctrl-c does of course have other uses in the CLI.

Is this feature already implemented, or maybe on the way? Is there some browser extension I could use? Grateful for all help.

CML 2 (VIRL 2) has a built-in multiplexing terminal server that allows you to SSH directly to devices running in VIRL. You can either SSH to the terminal server and then use commands to access devices, or you can SSH directly to the individual devices. The advantage of this is that you can use ...

Thank you, but our CML instance is running in a very segmented off area in our corporate network. It is possible to connect with external clients but it's a hassle setting up for each and every node which makes it impractical for small, temporary labs.

I would like that functionality within the CML web GUI, if possible. No biggie though, it's just for convenience.

Hi @Magnus-A , There are few keyboard bindings in 2.6, checkout the release notes, https://developer.cisco.com/docs/modeling-labs/#!cml-release-notes/installing-or-migrating-to-cml-26 For Copy paste, you should be able to highlight the text using your mouse pointer and right click on it, use the "copy" option to copy it out. .
