I have VT-d on my laptop and not VT-x.
Is there no way for me to use CML?
I got two errors in KVM/VMX and with images. I've searched google and nothing has helped me.
Has anyone run into this issue? I'm using VMware and the image for VMware.
Any thoughts or suggestions?
CML is running but I can't add any nodes.

Hello @frankbrasington97. Welcome to the community!
As far as I know there is no way to get around the lack of VT-x.
Which CPU are you using? Have you verified that there is no option for enabling VT-x in BIOS? I don't think I have seen VT-d without VT-x in any reasonably new CPU.

I have a MSI lap top. Meets all the requirements.
In the bios I have virtualization enabled but there's not VT-x.
I've tried looking for a driver to install VT-x but nothing.
My processor is Processor 13th Gen Intel(R) Core(TM) i9-13950HX, 2200 Mhz, 24 Core(s), 32 Logical Processor(s)

Hello Frank,
Do you have enabled hypervisor on your laptop? Vmware does not work together with hypervisor. You should disable it.
If you don't have VTX then it will not work:system requirement cml

I do have a hypervisor but I guess I have no way to get VTX

The Intel i9-13950HX is certainly VT-x capable, so let’s assume for the moment that it is actually enabled by default, but does not appear as an option in the MSI BIOS. If you are running Windows, you can confirm this by launching Task Manager and opening the Performance tab. A line in that tab will show whether “Virtualization” is enabled or not. Check that; if Virtualization is enabled, then issue is probably that the VT-x extensions are not being exposed to Ubuntu/KVM through Windows and VMware. If that is the case, try these steps:
