Proximity display showing my desktop after stopping sharing & leaving room

I was notified by a coworker that a room we had exited a few minutes prior was still showing my desktop on the room display, even though I had explicitly stopped sharing and closed the proximity app.

Here is the sequence of events:

1. Went into proximity-enabled room, opened the app, shared my desktop

2. 2nd user in the room connected to the display. I opened the app, stopped sharing my desktop. The display screen went back to default, then the second user started sharing their desktop, which was displayed on the room screen.

3. We left the room after the meeting was over and return to our desks

4. Coworker walks past the room a few minutes later and notices my desktop is actively updating on the display.

I'm running Win 7 on a lenovo W540 and have now deleted Proximity.

Hi,

Could you post the video system logs?

From what you have posted so far I can see that the desktop client behaved as expected. This line in the log:
2016-11-17 13:27:58.045     Info: HTTPCode=200 method="stopPresentation" requestSize=50 responseSize=27 elapsedTime=0.343000

Tells me that the video systems has gotten the stop presentation call from the desktop client. Hence, something went wrong on the video system.

When you presentation was showing in the room (and you had left the room) was it shown on the screen of the video system or in the proximity app of a mobile device?

I am not sure how to get the system logs. If I visit https://10.22.82.125/web/signin?next=/byod, I'm not sure what to enter for a login/password. I am absolutely not going to re-install Proximity if that is required to obtain them. :)

It was shown on the screen of the video system in the room.

If you do not have the login credentials you need to contact the person(s) that are responsible for the video systems.
