Upgrading ASR 1001-x Router from 17.6.3a to 17.6.6a ED

Hello Team

We are planning to upgrade from 17.6.3a to 17.6.6aED for ASR 1001-X router.

Kindly let me know if any intermediate upgrade path is required or can we do upgrade directly.

my suggestion always  read the release notes and understand caveats if any effect your environment, and check any command syntax changed.

take the devices config backup out of the box

give enough time to upgrade in the maintenance window, and prepare for roleback if something go wrong.

other side, if the router long uptime reload before upgrading my learning lessons.

Direct upgrade is fine, however, if the ROMMON can be upgraded to 17.3(1r) then get it done when it is possible.
