Hi, I installed Jabber 11.5.1 (via remote .msi deployment) on 2 separate laptops within seconds of each other, and the clients look different on each laptop (see attachments). The laptops are clones of each other (standard corporate Windows 7 image).
The installs were done on top of Jabber v10.6 (without uninstalling) and the machines were restarted after.
We do not have voice calling through Jabber enabled in our environment so I'm confused why one user would get the icon for it and the other would not. Both users also have the "Recents" tab enabled in their jabber-config-defaults.xml
Thanks,
Brad

So, this was not a fresh install, this was actually an upgrade.
Were there any switches used during the installation??
Have you made sure there is no CSF device configured for the user??
All the service profiles are OK??
Are you not using a special .xml for either user??

Hey, sorry for the delayed response.
- yes, this was actually an upgrade
- only switches were for quiet install and no restart (/qn /n). A restart of the user with the call option didn't resolve
- We have no CSF devices configured
- We're not using CUCM with jabber so no service profiles
- standard xml and that's the weird thing...both users have the "Recents" tab enabled in their jabber-config-defaults.xml and only one actually has the icon
Thanks,
Brad
