I've built a CWMS system and it has an IRP server. I now want to add HA to this system. I've deployed the second CWMS server and in the deployment webpage said this was a HA system (as per the manual at http://www.cisco.com/c/en/us/td/docs/collaboration/CWMS/2_5/Administration_Guide/Administration_Guide/Administration_Guide_chapter_0111.html#topic_2C274E9EC92046E8A3922DAE95ABFCD7 )
But when I go to the primary CWMS admin server and try and add the HA server, it says it can't because the selected server doesn't have the same public access setup. But when deploying the HA VM, there was no option to link a HA IRP to the HA CWMS VM.
Do I have to remove IRP, add HA and re-add IRP? Or am I missing something?

Hi Gordon,
Before you add HA, you need to have all the HA VMs deployed including Admin, IRP (and Media and Web if you have 250, 800, or 2000 user system). High Availability (HA) is deployed like a primary system, except that during the deployment the system identifies it as a HA system. Once you have all the VMs for HA system deployed and ready, then you can start adding the HA to the Primary system.
I hope this will help.

The HA CWMS & IRP servers are deployed. Their consoles say:
When I go to add the HA from the admin server I get:

Hi Gordon,
Have you added Public Access to HA Admin (pointing HA Admin to HA IRP etc.) before starting the process of adding HA to primary system?
Also, try reviewing this video which might be of help: https://supportforums.cisco.com/video/12455146/ask-expert-cwms-high-availability

I've watched that video. The problem with that video is that the example setup does not have IRP configured.
It's looking like you can't add HA to a system that has IRP enabled.

Hi Gordon,
You can add HA to the system with IRP (Public Access).
You just first need to add HA IRP to HA Admin VM. When deploying HA VMs, and when on HA Admin you are going through the deployment wizard, you need to check the option to add Public Access (in the video that was not selected) and proceed with the adding HA IRP VM to the HA deployment.
Once that is done, then you can go to Primary Admin VM and add HA solution which includes HA IRP as well.
I hope this will help.
