Alt-Tab back into Cisco Jabber puts focus on the wrong component

I have an oddity.

If I open a chat to someone, and alt tab about while the chat text is empty   (say i wanted to copy some data from another window to paste back in jabber)   when i Alt-Tab back to Jabber, it puts the focus on the upper left button "Bring Main Window To the Top".  It even highlights it with a black square. 

I am forced to either click back in the chat text window with my mouse, or hit shift-tab, to get back to where i can type or paste my data.

It doesn't appear to do this if i have any text in the window before alt-tabbing out.

I realize this seems like a small thing, but I have users who's daily routine is to bounce between multiple windows and jabber to get information out to people... and it's irritating them to no end.  

Has anyone else experienced this, and if so do is there a work around?

To be honest, this is one of those “leave the campground better than you found it” opportunities: open a TAC case and hound them until they create the defect for it. The developers can only fix the issues they know exist.
