I have CUCM 8.5.1 in my environment.

I already have the cop files for iphone.

We have configure our firewall to allow iphone to make calls when outside the LAN.

We are planning the same for android phones.

what else do we need other than the cop files for android to be installed onto the CUCM ?

our ASA is using firmware version 8.32.

do we need to make further configurations on the firewall ?

The Admin Guide outlines the configuration needed on CUCM. Off the top of my head I believe you also have a SIP Profile with custom timers to create.

As far as the firewall goes: I hope you are referring to AnyConnect Mobile VPN Client for Android or the Secure Connect feature of Jabber. Opening the firewall to CUCM from the Internet without a VPN tunnel would be a massive security/DoS risk.

we are using vpn for the android to access from WAN.

currently we are using anyconnect mobile for android for testing.
