Chat from Cisco Jabber to Skype for Business

Hello all,

we are using Cisco Jabber and now got a customer that uses skype for business. Is it possible to chat with each other over these different systems?

We only need the chat function, no voice or video.

Would it be necessary to change settings on our side or on the side of our customers?

Does anybody got any experiences?

AFAIK, an XMPP federation still "should" be possible, you can refer to the federation documentation for IM&P and you would need to reach MS to find out if something needs to be adjusted on their side.
